About AmCham

As a representative of some of the largest and most influential foreign and local enterprises in the country, AmCham Serbia possesses the capacity to serve as a powerful agent of change in Serbia's process of economic development. AmCham carries out this role by tapping into the knowledge and experience of its many members, using it to advocate and support the reform process through government relations and advocacy committees' work.

In addition to engaging highest-ranking government representatives in a dialog at monthly luncheons, AmCham Serbia has developed close cooperation and meets regularly with key government figures in the economic reform process. The most important part of AmCham activities in the field of the reform process go through the work of the advocacy committees. Currently, our members are actively working on and making a difference on six different fronts: Intellectual Property Rights Committee (IPR), Tax Committee, Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), Information and Communications Technology Committee (ICT), Finance Committee, Health Care Task Force and HR Workforce Development Task Force. Their work has already given way to tangible results such as quality legislation, more effective law implementation, and grass root attitude changes among others.
